from the comforter,

In the New Testament, the only mediator in the strict sense of the word is Christ mention in Timothy 2:5. We can teach each other and pray for each other, but no priest, saint and not even Mary is a necessary mediator between people and God. That role belongs to Christ alone.

I don't need any answer taken from any man made Catechism.

Yes, we have one mediator between God and man, Jesus.
Nor is the pope the vicar of Christ on earth, that office belongs to the Holy Spirit alone.

Priests were from the Tribe of Levi and the only ones able to approach the Holy of Holy's. The curtain to the Holy of Holy's was wrent upon the death of Christ. This gave man access to God through Christ alone.
The priesthood is established by God in Exodus for for the Hebrews. Christ became the only Priest. However Christ was also the Good Shepherd that is why non Roman churches have Pastors (pastor & shepheard mean the same)
Pastors have the office of the Keys, which allows them to forgive sins that are confessed, in the name of Christ.
Praying to saints and lighting candles and stuff like that are Roman Catholic money makers.
Hebrews in the New Testament will fill you in.

In the Church (the body of Christ) there is only one mediator between God and man, The Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 2: 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Only the Nation of Israel had priest but when they had the Lord Jesus Christ killed the were blinded and today God is dealing with all men alike and that is through the fact that The Lord Jesus Christ died for all that would believe in what He did for them. Romans 11: 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Galatians 3: 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

You mention priests and Catechism which would seem to indicate your target audience is Catholic. But I'm going to answer your question in a way that responds to both Catholic and Protestant.

There are three stories of Jesus feeding crowds. Matthew, John and Luke I think. There is your answer.

He has the disciples break the people into groups. These would be your "parishes" or "church communities."

Jesus says bring me the fishes and loaves. He blesses them and then gives them to the disciples to distribute. The disciples being your priests and ministers.

Jesus himself tells us to go out and BE him for others. He sends out the 12, then later he sends out the 72. To evangelize and make disciples of all men.

If he didn't need priests and ministers, he wouldn't have done this.

He would have just said sit back and wait for everyone to come to me.

The priesthood was a pointer to Christ, who fulfilled the law and the prophets. This is why Christians are not under the ten commandments, but rather are governed by basic principles and love. No man-made mediator is needed, and we should not pray to Mary, or any 'saints'.

No Christ did that...remeber when the curtain split from top to bottom after Christ was hung on the cross and .....yes I Timothy 2 :5 does tell us that we do not need anyone but Christ to pray thru...and we would have made it just fine without ever having known the name of Jesus mother...Christ is our Savior....not Mary....

Your interpretation of scripture conforms to that of only some of the "reformers" of the 15th century and later, who made up their beliefs to suit their own whims, and then modified the Bible to match.

You have no idea how God uses mediators, because scripture deals with the matter in only a very limited fashion, and you dismiss anything that's contrary to your preconceptions.

If anybody ever needed a catechism, it's you.

What i understood about this, people always want to do things accordind to their own feelings as we all can see today with "the human rigts" our mission was to teach each other and pray for each other, and still be the same. By following Jesus way i believe that you do become as simple as that; a mediator
