I am looking for a really nice restaurant that offers private dining. I am willing to pay up to $30.00 a person (but no more).

Why don't you try out McCormick And Schmick's. It is located in the plaza in KC also. I have eaten there, and it is very nice. If you exclude wine and alcohol from people's tab, you would definatly be able to slide by with $30 a head. Don't forget that whatever you spend per person, that you are going to get an additional 20% added to bill for gratuity. Check out their website;

I am not sure where you are from ,but there are some great restaurants here in Illinois.(USA).Like Bacchus Nibles(French),El Tavarro(Mexican),and Hendersons(Soul Food)
