Yes Santa is real. As real as you or me. As real as the winter snow. Yes there IS a Santa, and he lives in the hearts and minds of thousands of people young and old.

Santa was real at one time but not the Santa as we know.He did not go from country to country giving gifts.He did give gifts to a orphanage.

saint nicolas used to deliver gifts to kids, but that was decades ago.
one little girl saw him and could not say saint and called him santa.
well, saint nicolas died ending santa, but the tradition continues
