peek-a-boo highlights or hidden highlights?

I want to get my hair highlighted and do something new instead of the same ol highlights. I know theres a new way of highlighting hair and I think its called hidden highlights or peek-a-boo highlights. Basically you put the highlights more in the middle part of you hair about 4" down from your scalp. I want to show some pics to my hairdresser but I can't find anyone. Anyone have any ideas?

look up some pictures of christiana agulara from like 4 years ago....the hair dresser should know what you are talking about anyway..we have been hilighting like this for years
