What immigrants are you talking about? Immigrants who took the time to come here legally are against those who go around the laws and come here illegally. There is nothing wrong with that.

We aren't against new LEGAL immigrants. Just the ones that sneak in and begin their stay here by breaking the law. At the last check, over 80% of homicides in LA County were committed by Illegals.

Foley comment... Cute.. Why not ask Rep Studds (D-Mass) who actually had sex with an underage male page (Foley only sent innocuous emails, the IMs were to a 21 yr old former page, he never had sex with a CURRENT UNDERAGE page), and or Barney Frank (D-Mass) who allowed his homosexual Boyfriend to run a gay bordello out of his Georgetown Townhouse. How about Teddy (hiccup) Kennedy who drowned his pregnant girlfriend in Chappaquiddick? At least Foley had the honor to resign unlike those great Liberals(socialists).

Let's cut through the nonsense and see things as they really are -- not as the TV people want you to believe.

The 1920's inflows of immigrants was an entirely different scenario. How? The Ellis Island immigrants were going through the process legally. They were checked for diseases. They had background checks (as much as could be vouched for). There were also quotas. For instance, letting in 25,000 Irish, 25,000 Fins, 25,000 Danes, etc. They didn't just fill the country up with a never-ending flow of British.

Today, you have people from latin America applying for citizenship and are doing it legally. (Many of which are educated, disease-free, law-abiding, skilled workers.) Good.

However, you also have nearly 40-50 million who've snuck into the US illegally. Now, answer this:

"Is it selfish to not want to live in a neighborhood ruled by gang-bangers?"

"Is it selfish to not want to catch terrible diseases that illegals are bringing in?"

"Is it selfish to not want to pay for an illegal alien's medical costs when you have your own medical costs to pay for?"

"Is it selfish to not want to pay for an illegal alien's food when you have a family to feed?"

Etc.

Hey moron, the problem is not immigration. It's ILLEGAL immigration. I am not surprised that you are too dumb to realize this because you are Mexican.

Mexicans are not exactly known for their intellect. You are proof of this.

The second part of your question is true, but it still doesn't give anyone the right to circumvent laws no matter whether they are enforceable and cogent or not.
