It depends on what fits the girl... But for women over 30, long hair makes them look younger....

For me I have always loved long hair. I find it to be sexy and then on the other hand it just seems to be lady like.
I have been married 37 years now. Once about 30 years ago my wife got her hair cut short. I hated it. She has worn it long since then. She likes beards and I really don't but turn about is fair play. I have one because she likes it.

I am more interested in her personality and think that most girls look great with either long or short hair as long as it is not buzz cut like a boys

It really depends on the girl. Long hair (past shoulders can almost always work). Some girls can go shorter.
