In California, You can buy and smoke cigarettes at the age of 18.

Perhaps the tabacco companys will have you hooked and unable to quit before you're old enough to know better.

God Bless You, ;-)

It's not illegal to smoke, just to buy the smokes before age 18. I have never heard of anyone being arrested for smoking at any age.

You may not get arrested for somoking them, but no one, in any state is allowed to be in possesion of cigarettes if they are under 18. You may get a citation, or a warning, but probably not arrested.
