It may have been a rumour i've heard, but does eating poppy seeds have any psychotropic effect on the body, or does the amount eaten have to be considerable large?

Poppy seeds contain enough opium to make you fail a drug test, but probably not enough to get you high.

The little amount of seeds on a poppy seed bagel wouldn't have any effects on your body. You would need to eat cup fulls of poppy seeds to have some effect on you.

no it doesn't work that way. it's the wrong poppy. opium poppy is something else. it's true it will kick up a flag at drug test, but it will be resolved after a more in depth scan
