Without a doubt Vico's on 92nd and Madison. (close to Central Park). Be careful cash only. Desert are off the wall, not just fine Italian food.

Vincent's is good.
Little Italy still does have some great places; avoid the tourist traps, tho. My favorites tend to be on the side streets.

Little Italy restaurants are tourist traps that are vastly overrated and overpriced. The food is sub-par compared to any other decent Zagat restaurant in the Village or Uptown.

For broke college scholars, i could recommend Puglia - Hester highway, actual off of Mulberry. they have vast communal tables, stable nutrition, low fee wine (crimson or white, no record!) and it is loud and exciting with stay music that all of us sings alongside to. l. a. Mela on Mulberry is likewise a reliable place for communities. exciting and loud with stable family contributors form nutrition. completely actual looking expenditures. the different suggestion in Little Italy is Luna on Mullberry. no longer as loud and exciting because of the fact the different 2, yet nevertheless stable nutrition at stable expenditures.

In Little Italy, "Buona Notte" on Mulberry St. Nice food and very reasonable prices...right in your range. Kinda small but with a real charm.
