if you were to choose a language to learn, from these two choices, which would you choose?also, which do you think my boyfriend would enjoy hearing me speak to him more in ;)

no no peoples...its not "for him" its for my own personal gratification of knowing another language.and both of these have interested me for a long time. but both are so complicated id only want to learn one! ;) italian intices me more than french...cuz yeh your right, french sounds like hawkin a lougi every second, and in 7th grade i could NOT get it down for the life of me. but it doesnt hurt to try again :|

OK i want to learn italian...now then, i want to get a CD to learn from, at my own pace in my car and what not...where would i find something like that and does anyone have any recamendations?

If you want to lean one for more employment opportunities, then definitely French. But if Italian is more appealing to you go for it - I think the key to learning another language is having a genuine interest in it. Here in Canada we have to take French in school and a lot of us end up hating it b/c it becomes more of a chore than something fun or interesting.

French, because:
* It's the more common language internationally, so you're opening up conversations with many more people
* As a more popular language to be learned by English speakers, you'll encounter more help if you run into trouble
* And, well, they do say that French is the language of love.

they say french is the language of love. i dissagree. its not attractive to hack a lougie every other word. i think italian is sexier than french. so, thats my vote. but english has its merrits too! :D

french = Romance, sexy. but don't do it for him. do it for yourself. Find out which one is better in the business world. That will increase you asset in your career.
