Its not likely that its the real and lasting kind of love, but at 14 you're may actually be more likely now to fall in love than you'll ever be once you get older.
Yes, you can be in love. Just try to remember that this kind of love will probably not last very long, so enjoy it while you have it and don't be too heartbroken when it ends. You will probably love again and again and maybe even again before you find the kind of love that can last forever.

Yes! You can be in love, but it might not last more than a few months. You are young and there are many boys that you will think are hot. Enjoy the love you have now. You never know this may be a boy that you will love your whole life just not be with.I hope that your love -love's you back, if not your in for heartache.Just remember just because you are "in love" doesn't mean 14 is an age you should have sex.Wait !!!! It is worth it.

No. Teenagers experience what is called Puppy Love. They think they have the real thing and are in actual love. You are still young at 14 and have alot of growing up to do and learning different things. By 18 your taste in men will change. People experience different things in life along the way. So to say that you are "in love" at age 14 is what is called missunderstanding your feelings.
Wait. Give it time. Everyone changes.

Yes, of course. But most 14 year olds aren't mature enough to make a lifetime commitment at that age, which is a different story. I do know one couple that I worked with year ago who had married when the girl was 14--it was the south, out in the boonies, and the girl told her parents I'm doing it with or w/out your permission (by lying about her age) and they gave it, and this couple was still married, in their 30's, maybe more, and still in love with each other. I think that's pretty rare, though.

Yes, it may not last the trials of time, but there's definitely love at that age. Juliet was only 13 or so and deeply in love with Romeo.
I was first in love at 14.

Who is anyone to tell someone else what love is?
Here is the dictionary definition:
1. very strong affection: an intense feeling of tender affection and compassion
Young children need unconditional love.
2. passionate attraction and desire: a passionate feeling of romantic desire and sexual attraction
It can be interpreted how you will. I don't think I could have loved at fourteen, but who am I to say no one else could? I believe love is what you make of it. If you have to question if you love someone--it isn't love. Love to me is natural--love to me is instinct--love to me is wonderful. You'll know if you are in love or not when you look back years down the road. Maybe we are all right and maybe we are wrong. Only YOU know the truth.
As for Romeo and Juliet--that is a FICTIONAL play. It isn't fact--it isn't real life.

Yes and No. When I was your age I thought I was in love. But love is when you and another person love each other, and nothing comes between that. That means if you think you'll seriouslly n honestly be together forever, then that's love. Good luck!
