What are the other Names ( not asking qualities)of GOD ?

All the religions say that there is only one GOD and they name it diffrently.Some call SHIVA the Supreme soul,some Allah,GOD, Jehova and there may be many other names ( .Please give only three more names and which name do you like most and why?

I don't have a favorite name. "God" was created by men to explain and justify everything

The man upstairs.
The Almighty
He who is called "I am"

Let's review some assumptions here.



1. El Shaddai

El is Hebrew meaning "God" which is a title not a name.

2. Jehovah-Jireh & 4. Jehovah-Nissi

are places in Israel not 2 different names. (Like Jacob's well, isn't a new name for Jacob)

3. Jehovah-Rophe
5. Jehovah-M'Kaddesh
6. Jehovah-Shalom
7. Jehovah-Tsidkenu
8. Jehovah-Rohi
9. Jehovah-Shammah

These are different qualities of the one God named Jehovah.

If I were to discribe
Tom as smart,
Tom as handsome,
Tom as peaceful,
Tom as rich,

I wouldn't have 4 different names or 4 different Toms

I would have one Tom who is smart handsome, peacheful and rich.

There is one Jehovah, who has the qualities discribed by those qualities.

am a muslim and in islam i learned that god has 99 names that describes him like generous \ forgivable and muslims believe in 1 god which is allah and wont try 2 pray 2 any other one muslims say this sentence coz they believe in allah only "there is no god but allah and mohammed is his prophet" muslims have pillars of islam,faith and more so me as a muslim i think that all ppl should never fight 4 anything or torrisim u know u should never fight 4 which is the best religion we r all ppl and we have to treat each others as brothers and sisters and always behave and be helpful although there are 2 kinds of muslims or schims :1)suni

there is no big difference they r all muslims and pray for the same god and believe in the same prophet but shutti believe that there should be a dedcendent from prophet mohammed..and their leader should know all rules of islam but sunni dont they are a larger group that think that their leader should be a truly muslim that knows the rules of islam and quran..so what am saying is that we cant chose the name of the best god that we think its the nicest its the best or any of that but u have to believe in ur religion and follow its rules...u should not ask which name u like the most...???...u have 2 think of ur religion and u can study other religions too but its haram or not allowed 2 ask that question in my religon coz "there is no god but allah and mohammed is his prophet" thats what muslims always says...
