I honestly don't know if this is really a question you can answer, but if you think you can then please enlighten me.

I can't for the life of me understand why my girlfriend dates me. I am a retched God damned person. I used to drink, smoke, sleep around. I was in a very...large scale gang. I have an extremely violent temper when people tick me off (due to my gang life I suppose). I knifed my best friend when he ticked me off...I won't say what he did. To put it short I, esentially damned myself to hell.
I just don't understand it, I feel like a demon trying to love an angel. Don't get me wrong, I love her more than anything else. I would sell my soul if she asked it of me. I just can't help but feel that she deserves better than me, but when I tell her that she just laughs and says that she loves me and thats all there is to it.
Can anybody explain this to me?

LOL, why am I with her?
Cause she intoxicates me, she consumes my every thought. LOL, sorry, I couldn't help but put in some flowery speech.
I am with her because she is the first girl that I have ever truly loved without needing attraction or some sexual desire. I guess I don't really know, but I can't even imagine life without her. I baught her an engagement ring =) I haven't given it to her yet though. I want to make sure this isn't some young infatuation.

The answer to your question Omvg1: Because I would gladly go to hell to make her happy, because she means more to me than anything else...besides, I'm damned to hell anyway.

Hey jeep_man 1, do you find suicide funny? I've had seven friends commit suicide and I was there for four of them. Its not a funny thing mate. And I did try, not like all you half hearted idiots, I put a .45 to my head and when I tried to pull the trigger my idiot friend hit my arm and it went off about five inches infront of my face. The ironic thing is that the bastard hung himself in his garage that night. Still laughing?

I'm in a very similar situation. I love my man because he is true to himself. He is a butthole, most of the times, but he lets me in to who he really is. He doesn't pretend to be something he's not. And he accepts me for who I am. A lot of people aren't like that.

In any relationship you take the chance of getting dogged out, cheated on, or lied to, but when you have someone who is up front with you, at least you have the choice to love them for who they are, instead of feeling like a fool for loving the person they were pretending to be. You should marry her.

And by the way, I'm sure you're not damned to hell, especially if you were spared like that (blessing #1), and you have a wonderful woman that will be there for you no matter what (blessing #2). There are "good" people worse than you. Hope everything works out.

She seems as she is really in love with you. Sometimes we cant help who we fall in love with. She can see something in you that not even you can. She knows that everyone deserves a second chance at life and happiness, and why not give it to the person you love. Don't stress over it. Just be thankful that you have someone in your life who loves you and you love back. Enjoy your relationship. If you really want to make sure that you don't hurt her, you should go to a therapist who will be able to help you with your anger and your self-esteem. What you did in the past does not matter. What matters is what you are doing with your life now and in the future. I honestly hope that it all works out.

She doesn't see you the way you see yourself. Love is blind. You say you "used" to smoke, drink, sleep around, be in a gang...I am assuming you have changed your ways? If so..good for you!! And don't be so hard on yourself for past mistakes. Just live the rest of your life right.

she loves you. love works in mysterious ways, but if you're good to her that's all she can ask, and clearly you are. plus you can ADMIT these things you've done, and that's a whole step away from just being that person. a demon trying to love an angel...that's beautiful. if she wanted better than you she would have it by now. love her and dont let her go!

When love is involved then it does not matter what you have done. All that matters to them is you. Besides you said that you use to do all that ****. Sounds like she is good for you. If that don't help then answer my question and you will have answered yours as well. Why would you sell your soul if she asked you to? If you can answer that then you understand why she dates you.

She truly loves you ... maybe she thinks she can make you a better person ... she's here to "save" you ... lol ... or she really just doesn't mind putting up with a guy like you ... shoot sounds like a few guys I know - but I still love them ... !

it's simple... she finds your dangerous side exciting... bet it makes for some graet s3x! anyway, if you are the p.o.s. you say you are, do something about it before you hurt some one for real... get help... get jesus... or get out. if the shrinks and there meds can't help you then try a short rope over a rafter and a stool.

love is unconditional when you love someone, she probably sees a side of you that no-one else has. so put all that behind you and look after your girlfriend because she sounds very special.
