ok first they dont open em immediately
second different bread puppies open their eyes after a different number of days
ranging from 4 days to 2 weeks in some cases

Most puppies open eyes at 14 days old,but some breeds may open around 12 days old.If not open by 14 days old,you must apply sterile water on a cotton ball and wipe eyes very gently,wait a few minutes and very gently try pulling the upper and bottom lid apart,because infection will set up if eyes aren't opened by 14 days old.

You will start seeing some of their eyes opening around 10 days or so but it could take an additional week for them to be fully open. I'm watching this happen right now with baby Springer spaniels :-)

puppies open their eyes around 2-3 weeks. it all depends on the breed of dog. some dogs open their eyes 2 weeks and then there are some that open them at 3 weeks. again it all depends on the breed of dog that you have. i breed golden retreivers and the pups eyes open at 2 weeks, this is a med breed dog.

every puppy and kitten I've ever seen in my life opens their eye's around the two week mark, my baby chi-ter waited 17 days. I was about to get worried about it and came dome from work one day and he had his eyes open
