*sighs* Seriously... This is how you wanna play it? It's actually hard to carry on intelligent conversation with people like you, because you refuse to listen to reason. Everything HAS to be your way, or you blow a gasket and go nuts. By the way, not all liberals love Obama, myself included. But I voted for him to keep a destructive, bat-guano crazy Mitt Romney out of office. Romney and Ryan had destructive polices which actually lead to the great depression in the first place. And taking away safety nets from the disabled, the elderly, and the veterans is not the way to handle things. I got some things I'm conservative about, and I got some things I'm liberal about. Do you think Obama can fix something on the other side of the globe in 3 to 40 minutes? And if he did watch that satellite feed, it probably hurt him that he couldn't do anything to save them. He isn't the heartless guy you think he is, albeit he is an incompetent official. If it wasn't for Obamacare, if I worked the job I'm best suited for, I'd be unable to have ANY form of proper healthcare due to pre-existing conditions that I was born with. Try looking outside your own little box before you judge. Good day to you.

I always think this- that people mostly never get deep into intelligent conversation, (becuase i ask people and they tell me i'm thinking too much!)- but i have these conversations all the time. Mainly with my two friends- one who does philosohpy and is an atheist, and the other who is very spiritual and claims to be slightly physcic.
It's so so interesting just talkign about who we are, why we are here, and our conversations go on for hours sometimes. Normally the topic is- Are we real or just flesh and bone etc OR stuff like when we die- if there is an afterlife, do we just go straight there and carry on, so technically our minds never die, or do we just die?
Then when we get bored, we just post them on here and see what other people think!

It makes me sad to answer this, but this is exactly why I am getting addicted to this spiritual section. Nobody wants to talk with me about God. I am seen as a fanatic in my world, merely because I have such faith & in any conversation when God pops up I am somewhat "shot down" so to speak. But I am getting (sadly) used to it, and come here for an outlet. But unfortunately I can't remember the last conversation I had that I would consider intelligent. It's usually about our babies, or funny stories, or idle gossip. But it's ok, I try and be happy with what I have:o]
Oh I just thought of one, back in college umm 2004 I think, in Anatomy & physiology. That was a good one about our bodies makeup. See there's something:o]o;

Usually every night. My husband and I watch Countdown with Keith Olbermann when we can, which never fails to stimulate conversation about current events and how incredibly manipulative, inaccurate and desperate the other side (Faux News) is.

I have them often with my son. The last time was a couple of days ago. He's very smart. My husband doesn't like deep conversations. I save my humor for him.

Probably on this site. A host of people are so in tune with what is going on in their lives and they share their experience's with us. Some people pour their heart and soul in this and some don't. But I enjoy reading the answers as much as I like answering them also.

I've had a few back-and-forths on here today via email with people from here that were quite intelligent.
Last night my significant other and I had a conversation about Japanese grammar structure. (We're both huge dorks. That's essentially foreplay for us.)

I've noticed that I am not doing this lately..I think the last one was in August, we were talking about the relation between religions and how the way we think can change our understanding to religion

Over the last two days at work, three of us were talking about the mess in Iraq. No arguments and we all have slightly differant opinions. Awesome!
May GOD richly bless you.
