I know the protestants sects were created to divide Catholics, and I know they hate Islam, because Bush said it. I've never listened a protestant talking about Judaism before. But I know most protestants agree with Zionism.

Zionism is not Judaism. Zionism is a recent political creation. And used to foster hate. Do not buy into it.

Protestantism was not created TO divide Catholics. It was created FROM Catholicism. Protestants PROTEST. There are things about Catholicism that they don't like. So they protest it. Such as the idea that Jesus is really present in the Eucharist after consecration. Protestants protest that idea.

From the very first protestant, Martin Luther, there has been a lot of hatred of Catholics and Jews by Protestants. The Muslim issue is pretty recent for them.

But we need to move past this now and not dwell on it. Different religions are coming together over issues like Pro-Life and learning we are not so different.

That is FAR more important.

i'm going to have a number of this incorrect, yet that's what I comprehend: Christianity believes in a Trinity, 3-in-one god which incorporates God's son and yet self, Jesus, who divides the previous and new testaments and creates a oftentimes greater friendly courting with God. Holy e book became assembled from bits of previous information in Rome by ability of Constantine. chief of the church became Peter. Catholicism focuses on saints (all Christians) and that they might't pray to God at present, in assessment to Protestants who do. Islam believes Jesus became a prophet even with the undeniable fact that it easily detests the assumption of a "family contributors utilized to God" as God is a suitable unit. Islam believes Muhammad, who wrote the Quran, became the main suitable prophet. Judaism has been around the longest of the three, even with the undeniable fact that diverse sects variety wildly from one yet another. In maximum i think of Jesus is recognized as a prophet. Judaism focuses on prophets and elders, and rabbis can infrequently accrue magical powers like coming up existence. Leaders contain Abraham and Moses and diverse elders like Hillel. Oh, and for no obvious reason Judaism has had like 20 genocide tries on them. the two Judaism and Islam have very strict rules that have not got any actual rationalization and are punishable by ability of demise (even with the actuality that present day Jews do no longer use this punishment as plenty on the grounds that they grew to become friends with Christians). of direction, Christians did this too, centuries in the past. All 3 religions have an unfounded mistrust of technological know-how, and characteristic many disagreeing and each now and then warring sects, which interpret the respective holy books to various levels of stubbornness. Or in case you prefer an analogy: Christianity is Bush, Islam is Ahmadinejad, and Judaism is Fiddler on the Roof. *dazzling apologies to the a lot of human beings i've got offended!*

What you "know" might be challenged by historians.

1. Martin Luther, one of the earliest Protestants, did not seek to divide Catholics. He viewed himself as being a loyal Catholic and was rather taken aback when the Roman heirarchy took offense at his recommendations.

2. Henry VIII founded the Anglicans, and he too was a loyal Catholic - even given the title "Defender of the Faith." His break came not over religion, but politics because his uncle-in-law controlled Rome and was using the Church to control England. Henry went to great lengths before he broke. (The rest of his life was arguably messy, of course.)

3. I don't believe Protestants hate Islam, so much as fear it. Protestants and Catholics alike are obviously very loyal to Jesus and their faith in Him. The reaction to the Pope's seminar on Religion and Violence underscored this fear. The execution of Christian converts in Saudi Arabia underscores this fear. Historically, the distrust between Christians and Islam can be traced back to 1009 when the Califate attacked pilgrims, the monks who hosted them, and destroyed the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Prior to that, they were pretty much at peace. Even after Muslims sacked Jerusalem in 638.

Protestants are told

Catholicism: worships idols, asks for forgiveness from priests, thinks that confession is a get out of jail free card for Catholics who want to do something sinful

Judaism: hopelessly lost, should be converted at all costs, killed Jesus, arrogant and clannish

Islam: affected by the desert heat, not all there, worships heretics, primitive and backward, terrorism connections

Protestants were not created to divide Catholics, they were created to separate themselves from false doctrine and idolatry. Most Protestants love their Christian brothers and sisters and respect their Jewish ones for their role in Biblical history. They just don't agree with them. I'm not so sure about all Protestants agreeing with Zionism, but that may be true. I just don't know.

I don't believe in organized religion. I'm a Deist. ...ex-Protestant, ex-Mormon

Sola scriptura! Whatever protestants believe must be supported by the BIBLE.

Catholic religion strayed from scripture and prohibited the laity from reading it. They added and subtracted from the word.

Judaism refused to accept the witness of Jesus, their messiah; nuff said.

Islam perverted the existing scripture and denied it's truth. It substituted a false prophet for the messiah.
