Please don't listen to those people telling you to put her in a Pull-Up let her wear panties she is a big girl! Pull-ups are like diapers. Try putting one of those water proof lap pads on the seat of her car-seat that way her seat will stay dry they come in a 3 pack so if she has an accident you can put down a dry one. Good luck and don't worry she will soon be able to hold it for a long ride. As for measuring how many ounces I suggest pouring her potty chair offerings into a measuring cup that should give an accurate guess.

When my little ones started wearing pants (age about 21/2) I was really worried about long car rides and thought about taking nappies. Then I put a portable potty in the boot of the car and completely forgot to worry about it when we next did a long drive. We stopped more often than in nappy days, but no accidents. You can get mats to put on the seats (also pricey) or just keep an eye out for places to stop. A portable potty means you just have to stop the car by the side of the road.
Good luck.

You best bet is to get one of those portable potty seats that way when she has to go you just pull over and she can even go in the car you don't have to have her get out of the car it will save you alot of money in the long run. I used to do this with my little brother with long car rides and it worked really well. The pull - ups are just like diapers so your child will think that it is okay to pee in her pants. The potty training pants will be the same as the pull ups. Just carry an extra pair of clothes with you just in case she does pee before you can get the potty chair out. Good luck.

Depends on how much she drinks. They should be good. 8 oz is plenty of absorption.
Also, get a potty to keep in the trunk or backseat.
Good for emergencies, AND your precious baby will not be sitting on germy toilet seats.

depends on how much they have had to drink and how long they were holding it for... you are better off putting a pull-up on him/her...
