my parents are going away on a trip for about a month, and I'm dying to go on an island and spend probably 3-4 days on my own. the things is i want to be alone and fear that my siblings will squeal on me! this will be the only opportunity for me and I'll be using my own money to go diving and just hang out at the beach. i think instictively my parents are aware of my plan but I won't tell anyone in my family about it. Is it wrong and why do i have that feeling that something bad gonna happen but I will be careful though! wonder what u'll think if you were my parents?

I guess it depends on how old you are. However, you should never go anywhere without telling someone. What if you are abducted or hurt? No one will know where you are.
If I were you, I would just be honest with your parents. They want what is best for you....if they say no, its probably not a good idea, maybe you could go with some other people instead of by yourself.

U don't say how old u r (BIG factor), but u sound pretty mature (4 some1 who obviously is of an age where their parents still look after them).
I think that u sound like, if there is ANY way u'll b able 2 do it, u will. So u need 2 concentrate on ur safety etc.
By no means go awol, without tellin some1 where u're goin. Take a mobile, & just send a txt in the mornin, & 1 at night , 2 some1 u trust 2 keep ur secret. This still won't guarantee ur safety by any means, but means that they can get help 2 u sooner rather than later (though if u're murdered or something already, it'll b 2 late. JUST BEING REALISTIC/PESSIMISTIC).
If I were ur mum, I'd b proud of u cos u sound independent, strong-minded etc, but I'd also b scared s**tless cos parts of ur plan (bein alone, not tellin any1...) r just plain stupid in this day & age. It's not ur fault, but it's true.
Lastly, however, I'd say trust ur intuition. It's pretty much the only weapon we have 2 protect ourselves. Please try 2 consider doing something more low-risk.

If your in the position that your siblings can/will squeal on you it sounds like your under age; therefore I would beat the hell out of you if I were your parent and found out you we're even thinking about doing such a thing...let alone do it. People disappear on vacation when they go WITH friends and your crazy asss wants to visit an island on YOUR OWN. GROW UP KID!!!!!!

If you truly want to make this trip on your own, then at least inform SOMEONE of your plans, so if any thing did happen to you on the trip at least some one would be aware of your plans!!! Make arrangements to call that person at certain times to "check in" again for your own safety!! In showing this mature action, if your parents did find out they will not be quite as angry (they will be angry)!! The best option to be honest (as a parent), is to discuss this with your parents in a calm mature manner!! Good luck!!!

Someone should know where you are. Remember, your parents don't want to keep you from having fun, they just want to protect you. That's their job. ;o)
