Could it be because you haven't been dating very long? Maybe YOU are not sure that HE knows what love is. I'm sure that he believes what he is saying, but maybe he has limited experience. Some kinds of love take time to grow. It may be that his love is more of an infatuation. A puppy love. Maybe you are wondering whether you should tell him that you love him too but you need more time for the relationship to grow before you can say that because your idea of love is something different and slower.

Perhaps it's because you've been good friends with him for a while, and a transition into a romantic relationship seems strange. If this is the case, I'd suggest telling him this openly and honestly, and together try to work something out. The best idea is probably to keep him as a good friend, and maybe soon you'll decide that you want to move the relationship forward.

I have been in that same exact situation.
A guy has told me that he loves me after 2 weeks of going out, but I didnt think that was possible, and its not. He didnt really love me. He just wanted to use me for himself.
But its different for you because your guy is sweet and wonderful. Make sure that what he is doing and saying is not just an act. A good way to find that out is to see if he acts the same way around you as he does in front of his friends.
That always works. But if you feel weird about it, maybe you havent fallen in love with him yet, or you dont really want to let yourself fall in love. If he is going all out for you and really loves you, you need to open up and ask yourself if you really love him back.
If this is your first love, that may be another reason you feel weird. Just try and go with the flow, and if it feels to akward, talk to him about it, ask him "what qualities do you really love about me" or "how much do you love me?" When he answers the questions, you may realize that his answers are sincere, (and you may start loving him) or it may be an act.
Good Luck! â¥

Hi! To be dead honest with you, one of the reasons you may be feeling this since of "weirdness" is because you never had someone this authentic. Your probably used to guys who aren't genuine and as sweet as him. It's very natural to feel this way because of the simple fact that your not used to it. How sweet! You have someone who sees you for more than just your looks! You have someone who also love your personality! Do you know how many girls are dieing for that? A plentiful amount let me assure you of that! So what do you do? You continue to be yourself! That may sound pretty simple but that's actually all you need to do because that's why he loves you! I wish you two the best of luck!

You don't feel the same way about him. Maybe you are afraid of commitment.

may because:
1-He is not sincere
2-you never had love in your life before.
3-you lack sef-esteem.
