And If you do that you are lying, or not? What do you think about this?

There are reportedly 6.6 million Jehovah Witnesses at the present time. Since they believe only 144,000 will go to Heaven, why would the other 6.45 plus continue to be a part of this religion. They seem like such nice people, but doesn't this seem weird.
As for the end of the world predictions see this website:

I have to respond to "tweenthelines". That woman you speak of is definitely NOT a Jehovah's Witness. Nothing I have ever seen printed in literature by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has given any dates or years saying that the end is coming. Some people have formed their own conclusions, which have turned out to be false. Voicing these guesses publicly was obviously a mistake, since they were wrong. Those who put too much faith in those guesses instead of following the Bible's counsel to not speculate are no longer JW's anyways.

To answer your question, I'll ask one:
If your lawyer tells you you're going to win the court case, but you lose, was he lying?

Well if they are predicting the end of the world, and claiming that it is a message from God, they are basically declaring themselves prophets. If you turned out to be a false prophet, in Old Testament times, you would have been stoned to death. (Hooray for the grace that came with the New Testament!)
Not just anybody could declare a word from the Lord, or else they would be saying God was a liar when it didn't come true.

Sasi is frequently appropriate. you are able to keep in mind even with the undeniable fact that that as quickly as the "bible pupils" have been given at the same time interior the previous due 1800's, they weren't Jehovah's witnesses. They have been Catholics, Baptists, Lutherans, etc. They celebrated Christmas, suggested bless you whilst somebody sneezed and exchanged birthday provides. The bible teaches that the easy could improve brighter because of the fact the tip approached and definitely it has. The early brothers have been incorrect to foretell the tip of the worldwide purely because of the fact the early apostles have been incorrect to evangelise that it became coming of their lifetime. God did no longer appropriate them because of the fact the factor they have been making became you prefer to turn to God or be lost. on an identical time as the tip of the worldwide might desire to be 10,000 years away - the tip of you are able to desire to be the following day. fairly some the early dates have been based on the 6000 years of guy's existance. this might't be precisely calculated because of the fact it starts with Eve and not Adam. we don't understand how long he became on my own in the previous she became created. The 1914 date is calculated from the time line given interior the bible and the signs and indicators that Jesus gave got here approximately precisely at that factor. in case you do no longer prefer to correctly known them, that's as much as you. it may be rather useful, rather of nitpicking approximately somebody else's errors to coach your interest on your very own habit and your visual attraction interior the sight of God. purely people who're ideal to Him will stay to tell the story Armageddon and on an identical time as we don't understand the day or hour it rather is coming, all of us understand finished properly it rather is coming quickly.

Good question. We have a woman on here that just a month ago was telling us that in 40 days Jesus would be returning and that she herself was one of the two prophets returned to pave the way.

She has a lot of JW ideas in her postings. It is no surprise to me that those 40 days have come and gone. Where is she now, I wonder?

I find it interesting that people will quote others about what Jehovah's Witnesses have said or written.

If you were to have everything you believed or taught for the past 130 years written down for everyone to see,

I'm sure I could misquote, or take out of context your beliefs also.

This question reminds me of what Satan said to Eve about Jehovah God.

When the Pharisees couldn't disprove the teachings of John the Baptist and Jesus,

They slurred them as persons.

Since people can't honestly prove J.W. wrong scriptural, they slur them.

The Watchtower is the only organization that in print has honestly admitted to errors.

King David wasn't rejected by Jehovah when he made mistakes. Why he humbly admitted and was forgiven.

Jonah wasn't rejected by Jehovah when he made mistakes. Jehovah showed him the error of his way and Jonah did Jehovah's will.

The fact that for 130 years false religion has been trying to stop Jehovah's Witnesses testify to the fact that Jehovah is continuing to use this organization.

Let's see, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society was founded about 110 years ago.....

So I would say.....
