When we buy salmon (filet) it still has the skin on it. I just cook it that way face down in the marinade. So just split it and remove the large bones.

Fillet by running sharp knife under the skin at a 45 degree angle, that takes the skin off.
Then pick the bones out with a pair of plyers or tweezers. Just follow the easy pattern in which they grow ito the flesh.

CUT DOWN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD.
JUST TO THE BONES .
NOW CUT FROM THE HEAD DOWN THE BACK ALL THE WAY TO THE TAIL.NOT TO DEEP JUST TO THE BONES.
NOW KEEP CUTTING DOWN THE BONES UNTIL YOU GET TO THE BOTTOM PART OF THE FISH.
NOW CUT OFF FILET TO TAKE THE SKIN OFF JUST HOLD THE KNIFEUNDER THE SKIN AND PUSH.
TRIM FILET THEN GO TO THE OTHER SIDE AND DO THE SAME GOOD LUCK
