ok... i know this sounds odd to ask, but my periods are really bad. i get really bad cramps and i am sad or crying most all the time. i dont think its typical pms... any suggestions?

my best answer yet huh strange but works ladies two weeks prior to ur time of month start eating/drinking blueberries will stop bloating and all other icky side issues.THEN when it starts eat anything with cinnamon in it relieves muscle cramps i've been doing this for awhile dont knock it til u try it then let me know how it went.:)yeah no more pain or clothes that dont fit

Here is something that is easy and works well on most people I know who have tried it: Take 100mg to 200mg of Vitamin B6. You can actually take as much as you need, because the excess just gets peed out. It's not toxic. The only side effects are, your pee turns bright yellow, and if you take it in the evening it might keep you awake.

Well I had a friend who used to get bad cramps and her periods were so heavy and bad. Her doctor put her on birth control pills. Birth control pills tend to lighten your periods. They ease your periods and it helped her a whole lot. You definitely need to check with your Gynecologist. Good Luck.

really speaking these days many changes happens in the human body itself, and cumulative effect gets reflevted in the mind so the sorrow or sad ness is observed. better to consultl the doctor .
why don't you try yoga under the expert advice of mine???

it could just be your dehydrated, drink planty of water while on your period, try asnd use a hot water bottle and ask the doctor to out you on the pill, it will stop the cramps

this happens to a lot of women, including me, I take ibuprofen it helps a lot, my doctor told me to start taking it 2 days before my period starts, it will help you lots. Use a hot water bottle and some chocolate, and you're good to go. I would consult your family doctor just to be sure, he/she will know whats right treatment for you.

a warm bath will help with the cramps. sex will help them go away to.
as for the crying i suggest sunshine. working out. and getting plenty of vitamins.

Go to your gyno and she can put you on a low dose of birth control and that will help, I too had bad periods and this was wonderful.

Try taking pills that relieves cramps like midol, advil, or other pills that are pain relievers.
