Again, This is NOT my work. I am helping a friend with her English work. Also she does not have the internet. She is from Germany and she’s having a hard time understanding English. With your comments it is helping her to understand English, and also how to use it later. Plus I don’t want to get the wrong answer in showing her. That’s why I am asking for some extra help. Is that a crime?

the rule is that if the number is 5 or above u round it up to the next whole number, same applies for hundreds and thousands as well
therefore question 17: 1,563,385 becomes 1,563,000

question 20: the prices are rounded up as follows $2, $1, $3.50, $10, $6, so the answer is A $22.50

17) D (Simple, the number is closer to 2 million than 1 million.)

20) A (If the number is closer to the whole dollar than make it that, if closer to .50 than make it that.)

Ya know, it's not a good mix with someone that don't know English and someone "teaching" her English by helping with Math homework and that person not knowing SIMPLE Math skills.
