Ok, I'm 5'7 and there's this guy I like but he's shorter than me by like 4 inches. He's also 13 and I'm 15. He seems interested in me, but i think it would be way awkward to date someone like that... He's really cute though! =) lol. Anyways, I don't know what to do. Help!

well it's really up to you whether you feel comfortable in that situation...me personally i can't date someone shorter than me it makes me feel stupid

I don't see why this is a problem. You're taller, he's shorter. So what? If you think he's cute, and you are both mature enough to handle dating, and you think he would be the kind of person (personality and character wise) that you would want to date, then go for it!
Sure, it might be different, but different can be good sometimes!

I am around around couples like that all day at my school. The Guy is like 5"3 and the Girl is like 5"7 people do take occasional glances and stares, but people end up respecting them because they realize that they love eachother.
If you really like this guy and are prepared for people staring at you and making fun of you guys for a while, then go ahead.
But if you are not comfortable with the height, and age difference, dont go through with it. And on top of everything, he is only 13, he cant possibly be that mature. If you are looking for a mature guy, you should try and find one thats near your age.

Whatever you're comfortable with. The whole boy has to be taller than the girl thing is just pressured by society. I have a friend who is dating someone shorter than her and he is also two years younger, they have been together for almost a year. If you like him go for it.

It's definitely okay to date someone shorter than you. Once I went out with a girl who was a few inches taller than me, and it was never an issue.

ok, You're going in the wrong direction, honey!! Shorter....I could handle, but younger than you....at that age.....No WAY!!
I have 13yr. old son, and he has the mentality of a dam 8yr. old! Boys are soooo much more immature than girls.....You really should look for one older than that! Just sounds grose to me.
Oh, by the way, My husband is shorter than me, but I'm ok with it because once I got to know him well, I saw where all his extra growth went to !! :) his tongue and weiner

It doesn't matter as you are teenagers you aren't having a real relationship. As you have not emotionally developed you are incapable of feeling or knowing what true love is.
Right now what you feel is a mix of desire to be wanted and lust.
You will think I'm crazy now, but in 10 years you will look back and wish you could re-choose this as your best answer.

No u should'nt be dating anyone at that age but no there is nothing wrong with dating someone shorter than u.

Like him, yes... Problem is you're both underage... He may hit a growth spurt in a couple of years. So don't worry about it until you're both over 18...

find out hu his parents r if theyr short dont do it that **** is just weird bcoz if he doesnt grow ull hav 2 b kissing ur boyfriend while he is on a chair
