2. If they ask for a certain person say "THEY MOVED TO NEPTUNE!"
3. If they want a money donation say "Yes, I'd LOVE to give you a hundred gazzillion dollars... but I don't have any money!"
4. Pretend to be "a little slow" (answer "huh?" or "I don't get it" to everything).
5. If all else fails, simply say "I DON'T LIKE YOU" and hang up.

go richard o with the sausage line! that's great - never heard that b4. But in all seriousness...please don't badger out-bound calling telemarketers...they don't dial your number to ruin your day. There is a computer that dials numbers randomly and sends it to the next available csr. If you hang up or scream or whatever - they'll just end up calling you back eventually. Best thing to do is to calmly interrupt them and ask them to have your number placed on their "internal do-not-call list" and then wish that person a pleasant day. You won't be called back and you will have averted hurt feelings and bruised quotas. You don't like ppl screaming at you and calling you foul names just b/c you're trying to do your job...

As someone who works in the marketing industry. This was not something I like to see, though it was funny. I understand both sides of the spectrum. However if someone is calling you to do a survey just FYI its completely to better the goods and services around and if you truly arent interested then I would highly suggest hang up. Never mind dragging it on. Peoples time is precious and those who want to help will and those who dont should just hang up so the people calling can do there job. They have bills to pay just the same as everyone else and people dragging the process isnt fair to them. It pays the bills and helps the public.... How can anyone find that annoying?

Why would you want to annoy and torment someone doing an unpleasant job for a tiny wage in cramped conditions? Many telemarketters are bullied by their bosses - why would you want to join in?
If you don't want to take the call, then don't, but don't use the occasion to bully someone who is worse off than you.
