if u dumped him why are you still calling his phone to be able to even know whether it's on or off...ur not the only person in the world that he talks to anyway he has no reason to turn his phone off

Why would he turn his cellphone off?
If he turns it off, no one will be able to reach him and it defeats the whole purpose of having one. He can easily ignore your phone calls by checking his call display. If he doesn't, then that's his fault.
Plus, if you dumped him, why are you still calling him?

No, I wouldn't turn it off, but I wouldn't answer it either- just to see how many times they'd call. Hoping that it meant they regret their decision.
