Of course they are going to say they're not racists!!! I think they are a bunch of racist fear mongers who are afraid of the POWER SHIFT that's going to come from all of the Mexicans in this country...and it IS COMING.
They are afraid of becoming MINORITIES themselves, because they are FAST becoming a MINORITY.
Its all based on hate and fear. And any Mexicans, or any other minorities who side with them in my opinion are FOOLS!
I plan to sit back, watch and laugh.

I am an extreme supporter of the Minutemen, but you have to be careful. Just because a there is a law supporting an action doesn't make it non-racist. Look at the laws prior to the sixty's, many very racist, yet legal.
Besides, laws change. And someday a bunch of illegal immigration advocates may be using the same argument against us.
The argument should be made as to whether it is MORAL to protect the interests of our citizens first (It is!), regardless of current laws.
As far as the Southern Poverty Law center is concerned, there's not alot that can be done, except that you should write letters to the center, anyone listed as funding the center, the city government, and the chamber of commerce that that organization have no evidence of racial bias for their slanderous accusations, and that you do not support their position. If you contribute to any charity that funds this agency, stop doing so and tell them why. Be sure their name appears on every anti-illegal immigration blog. Hit them in the pocket book.

anybody against unlawful immigration is seen a racist. it rather is organic insanity. BTW, to those of you announcing that there are no longer any Minutemen on the Canadian border. we've not got 12-20 million illegals coming in from the north as we do interior the south.

Simple answer:
It's propaganda pumped out by corporate America and the US elites to guilt-trip anyone who questions their desire to allow 50 million + uneducated, unskilled people into the country.
Why do they want the US population to be thirdworld dominant (illegal aliens)? Simple. Look at what the elites in Mexico can get away with. US politicians are salivating at having an uneducated, dependent citizenry they can enforce martial law on among other things.
Corporations want to illegal aliens too. Why? To expand what are called market universes (to create a greater pool of potential customers). They also want to get away without paying benefits, pensions, bonuses and they want to get away with paying slave wages.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is a bogus organization -- nothing more than a propaganda organ. Many organizations like it exist, portraying themselves as some kind of social watch dog when in fact, they have an agenda.

Read s'more about the ol' Southern Poverty Law Center, there...they got some pretty stinky drawers, politically speaking...
The jerk circus never stops, you've got frothy-mouthed flag wavers on one side, bended-knee bleeding hearts on the other, sit back, have some popcorn and a refreshing malted beverage, and enjoy the show! LOL
Meanwhile, support the US Border Patrol!

For once I will agree with SWAY ii!! I dont think they are racist but if you are the opposition who will of course disagree with whatever you have to say because it doesnt coincide with what you're trying to do or get across. And while I do agree with what they are doing, I wonder if there is a way to get their message out there without inciting so much anger because the reaction they get from illegal supporters is the exact same reaction ant-illegals get when talking or commenting on here and that reaction is not well received either. So, Im not sure there is a way to do it in a different manner, but either way, there will always be negative reactions to positive messages!

The racism card is thrown around way too much in society today.
For example just today on CNN there was an article where Chris Rock's mother is filing a racism suit because a waiter at a restaurant did no come to her table quick enough for her liking.
What a load of garbage.

It's an easy label to stick on somebody.
And it's in liberals' best interests to ensure that Mexicans keep sneaking across our borders illegally, as they are repopulating the memberships of labor unions all over the country.
Those people find it easier to label the Minutemen than to offer a legitimate alternative. That would be an open and unrestricted border, which they know would never fly with the public.

Becuase the elites and minorities don't want whites to stand up for themselves. As Tina M stated above, yes whites are afraid of a power shift, but that shift won't occur if the white majority population fights against it. So the Minutemen and whites in general are constantly demonized to ensure that this power shift occurs.

That's called "libel," forward the link to the Minutemen Project and find out how to have their attorneys look at it. I'm sure they could use the money from the lawsuit to fund further Minutemen activities!

Playing the race card is cowardly. They are just calling them that to try to scare away more people from joining. If it weren't stigmatized, many thousands more would join and then the gov't would have to listen to us, but Americans are afraid of being labeled racist so they stay away!
