False. Being ticklish is not gender-specific.

I believe that most people get that perception because women are tickled more often then men.

One of the sweetest sounds in the world is the sound is a woman's laughter. For this reason, more women are tickled than men. It does not make it the right thing to do. I believe that tickling should always be consensual and the tickler should always respect the feelings, concerns, and limits of the person he/she is tickling.

I have known a lot of guys who are "insanely ticklish" so I know that tickling is not gender-specific.
