Here is my humble opinion:
1.
Talk to your now bf and see if you can get him to work on the controlling thing.
If yes, stay with him and stay friends with the other girl
If no, then leave him and try it with the other guy. Go on to 2.
2.
Now, about his track record, here are the possible outcomes
Good. Happy Ever After.
Bad. You tried. It happens. But remember, there is also a good chance that your ex will not take you back.
So, there are the options. Good luck, mi amiga.

Why do a lot of girls have a long term relationship with one guy and then all the sudden just change their mind and want to drop them like that! That is a bunch of bull s.h.i.t personally. If you are having such a good relationship with the guy you have been dating for three years then why leave him for some other guy you know that relationship won't even last 6 months?? If I were you I would think long and hard before you make some stupid decision that your gonna regret later on.

Sit down, and think about the pros and the cons of each guy. In my opinion, i'd rather be with someone who is a great kisser and likes me for who I am, than someone that is very controlling. A relationship in which one person is very controlling, can be very dangerous.

The question you really have to ask for yourself is which one is capable and is looking to satisfy your needs and desires...seems to be among your desires is freedom...and so you have to ask is your only way to experience the freedom that you want is to break up with your current boyfriend...sounds like you aren't happy with the current guy..so feel free to dump him anytime...and as for the other guy...feel it out first see if he wants the same things that you want and go from there (make sure he clearly understands that longevity scores big for you)...Above all remember...you breaking up with one guy does not mean you have to date the other...its ok to test the "free agent market"

If you have been with your BF for 3 years and are kissing another guy - it is not fair to your BF and maybe you really do want out then....try to make a decision that won't leave you wondering 'what if....?' Who can you see yourself with more? Maybe try to take a break with your BF - but leave it open to possibility in the future - but something needs to change is you feel this way...
good luck

If you really don`t want to be with the frist guy leave him. You may have other guys looking at you but know that you have someone already. As far as number two,who knows it may be six years or the rest of your life with you.Somethings are hard to say.You just have to try somethings that`s all.On the other hand it sounds like you want to try something different if you know what I mean.

Take a chance? obviously your 3year boyfriend isn’t all that - if your dating and kissing other guys? it is never right to cheat on anyone… You have to be honest with him and yourself… and too controlling? That can be dangerous…
