Danger! Do not use the cheap stuff.

I have used L'Oreal Preference in the past because it is cream based instead of liquid based. It does not dry out your hair and gives a beautifully natural look. Also it does not make a mess like the liquid one's and the conditioner that comes with it is the best.

Good luck!

All the brand names pretty much give the same results. Honestly, I have been doing my hair for 20 years now and they are all the same. Except if you don't want it washing out right away use a permanent and not a semi.

Boots botanics permanent or semi permanent. It looks natural, doesn't irritate and has a lovely conditioner. it uses plant extracts- which always reassures me.

i've always used ferria. it doesn't smell bad that it burns you nose off. and you do get the result that it actually states on the box. and your hair doesn't get damaged.
