I'm allergic to seafood (all shellfish) and I can't say that I really crave it. But over the past 5 years, I have noticed small reactions to eggplant, zuccini and strawberries (I get hives). I REALLY crave eggplant and strawberries sometimes!

You are probably not craving the food so much as what the food has to offer. Generally when we crave something it is because our bodies are lacking something and our brain knows that it can be found in the food it makes you crave. Try researching what vitamins those foods offer and try taking them to see if that helps. If you think you are allergic to something you should stay away from it. Every encounter with it will only worsen the severity of the reaction each time. Especially strawberries, they will cause hives in your throat which will cause it to swell and cut off your air supply.

I don't crave any of the foods I am allergic to. Most of the time, I am repulsed by the sight/smell/mention of foods I am allergic to.

I am allergic to peanuts. And I absolutely hate peanuts in general. The smell, anything. I cannot stand it. It does not bother me one bit that I am allergic to them.

well I'm not really allergic to anything but my best friend is. she is allergic to pineapples but she loves how they taste and she is constantly craving them so i guess its pretty OK. she sometimes just sticks a piece in her mouth just to taste it.
