Of course I would invite an LGBT person to dinner. Anything else would be un-Christian, since it would demonstrate bigotry and/or discrimination.
I'm hoping you don't hear any of that old "love the sinner, hate the sin" malarkey [see Patti, below]. People who say this are vicious hypocrites.
God makes LGBT exactly how they are, and God doesn't make junk!
Thanks for the question!

Yes I would.
A lady asked for scripture a while ago that would help inform her SIL that being Gay or bi was a sin. The SiL thought it was ok to be gay, and was just finding Jesus at the time.
I said to this lady, why would you just pick and choose what sin to find scripture on. List all of them, envy, greed, sloth, gluttony, blasphemy, idoltry, resentment....the list goes on and on. There's no point in judging someone because of their sins, we are all sinners, all we can do is love eachother as Christ loved us, and lead by example.
This is how people get turned of to religion, because a lot of "Christians" are quick to tell others that they are wrong, they are going to hell, they need to repent.
Take out the beam from you own eye, before you try to take the sliver out of someone elses. The only non sinner was Jesus, so let him be the judge, and guide people to himself.

Yes, absolutely...have some good friends who are gay. Why should a christian have a problem with that?
And for that matter, i wouldn't have any issues of inviting anybody else irrispective of beliefs, religion or culture as long as we mutually respect each other's choices

Yes, also Atheists, Agnostics, Muslims, Buddhists, you name it.
Matthew 22:2-10, "The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests."

Of course, I have no problem with having anyone to dinner. And yes, I understand that Jesus ate and lived amongst sinners, Gentiles, and tax men. I too, in request of my Savior, will do what is expected.

I would and I have. One of my best friends is gay and my wife and I have him over for dinner 3 or 4 times a month, when he is in town.

yes i would... no one is to judge anyone.. remember the Pharisees? Only the ONE TRUE JUDGE can judge anyone at the end of time. Since you are a Christian, it would be a good idea to show this person your unconditional acceptance...
