I hear a lot about Christians praying to the Father or the Son. What about the Holy Spirit? Aren't they all supposed to be the same?

Christians pray to the Father in the name of Jesus; lead by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the interceptor and essence of Gods spirit. Indeed, yes christian have ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom, faith increasement, etc to be lead by the Father's will (Hollow Be Thy Name; Thy Kingdom's Come; Thy Will Be Done).

When we pray to God, we pray to the Holy Trinity, which is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Three persons, but ONE God indivisible.

Yes, Christians do pray to the Holy Spirit (the Holy Spirit, Father and Son are one & the same God to Christians).

Here's an example from a famous ancient hymn:

"Come Holy Ghost, Creator-blessed, and fill our hearts..."

Here's one from a more recent hymn:

"Holy Spirit, You are welcome in our hearts..."

no,because the holy spirit isn't an entity, it's a state of being.
Like waking up one day and saying you're in a good mood, do you pray to "Happy"?
The Holy Spirit is what encourages you to pray to God, through a medium like Jesus.

Christians pray to Jehovah/Yaldaboath. While he created this world, he is not the Supreme Being; the Ori (Holy Spirit) is. Many ignore the true "God" and pray to the wicked one.

We are to pray to the Father in the name of Jesus (or - we can come to the Father if we wash our sins in the blood of Jesus).

Jesus is our intermediary.

The Holy Spirit works in the background bringing to pass what the Father's will.

The traditional form of petition to the Holy Spirit is to invoke the Father through Christ our Lord to give us the Consoler Spirit. (Luke 11:13)

Jesus insists on this petition to be made in his name at the very moment when he promises the gift of the Spirit of Truth. (John 14:17, 15:26, 16:13)

But the simplest and most direct prayer is also traditional, "Come, Holy Spirit," and every liturgical tradition has developed it in antiphons and hymns.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. (Catholic Pentecost Prayer)

Heavenly King, Consoler Spirit, Spirit of Truth, present everywhere and filling all things, treasure of all good and source of all life, come dwell in us, cleanse and save us, you who are All Good. (Byzantine Pentecost Prayer)

With love in Christ.
