These are obviously the beginning of the last days>>>
2nd Timothy 3rd Chapter:
(1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
(2) For men (people) shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy (not sacred),
(3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.

What does that mean? If somethings sacred does that mean we don't ask questions about it? Or is it so noble we dare not question it? How do we understand if we don't ask? Its true; some ask questions expecting nothing, simply looking for a shock factor. But some want to know the answer. With one group comes the other.

I hope not. Especially if "sacred" means "don't question." If I find a sacred cow - barbecue time!!!! I fear no question. Everything is to be examined, attacked, tested. You posted 9 words and there was so much wrong in those 9 words it would take me 9 paragraphs to explain it all. I am thankful I am awake to the value of antinomian thinking.

Sacred is defined by what faith or belief you have. That which you find Sacred is still Sacred to you. That which not Sacred to me, never was. Thus all is Sacred and nothing is Sacred, it is a matter of perspective.

Nothing is and everything is. What is sacred to me is not guaranteed to be sacred to anyone else. What another finds sacred, I may think of as junk.

It seems nothing is sacred here. Just wait till you ask a question, it gets worse.

frightful that some of the questions are genuine---some are just silly, but sacred...that is a heart/mind matter

That depends on your definition of sacred. But you're right, there are a load of morons on this board that are just here for a laugh and a poke at the religious nuts.

The only way to critically examine anything is to take its sacredness away; the only way to put any ideas out away from the elite is to take their sacredness away.
Nothing sacred, or no knowledge gained? I know which I'd pick...
