about monogamy? (besides the obvious answer: safe sex and protection from AIDS) And if you give this answer do you have this benefit in your relationship or are you merely offering a theory...a concept?

In theory, the best benefit of monogamy is an extreme comfort level. This includes trust in all forms, such as knowing where they have been and who they have been with, which branches out into knowing that you are STD free. Basically, this is important for both emotional and physical health reasons.

I'd like to say all of the above answers are correct , and maybe they are in "their cases" , I have a problem with TRUST , so therefor that rather rules the obvious answers out for me. I speak ONLY for myself. Sometimes I feel it's merely a comfort zone. These things I need to work on .

Creating a family is the best benefit to me. You get to create a loving home that some people may not have had with their families. And yes I do benefit from this.

the parts fit - like the pieces to a puzzle - no matter the picture, the scenery, the pose, somehow, they just manage to click into place. Is that accomdation? acceptance? collaboration? who knows. I thought I knew that once, but I was mistaken. It just hits me from time to time, like an eerie dejavu.

The most important thing is the love they have for each other, sex isn't everything.
