Don't drink. But if you really want to avoid the hangover, go to GNC and buy Activated Charcoal. (This is what they would give you in the hospital to pump your stomach if you were to drink way too much.) Drink all night like you would, but when you're ready for bed, take two asprin, and a couple of the activated charcoal. Drink LOTS of water. If you tend to blow chunks when drinking, I would recommend making yourself barf before you take the asprin and activated charcoal, that way it will actually dissolve into your system, and not just get barfed out right away. If you're not too totally wasted to where you're just gonna pass out, try eating something with bread or potatoes in it. I swear by this method.

Well, the obvious answer is don't drink so much. But since that's probably not acceptable, before drinking, eat a good full meal. While drinking, order glasses of water with each drink, or at least every other drink. At the end of the night, if your head is spinning, stay up till it stops, then go to bed.

Assuming you mean you want to drink and still lessen your hangover as much as possible...

I'd say eat something, and before you go to bed, drink lots of water and take an aspirin. If you wake up in the middle of the night, drink water then too.

The clearer the drink, the lesser hangover you get because clear drinks have lesser hangover-causing chemicals in it. Beer, white wine or vodka gives lesser pain int the skull. Another thing is that drinking one kind of drink for one specific party gives lesser headache. If you stated with beer then drink beer the whole night.

Drink water every once in awhile when ur drinking. and before you pass out, make sure you drink as much water as you can before you feel like ur gonna puke.

Id say that tends to work for me most of the time, but still hangovers happen. another trick is to make ur self puke then drink the water and pass out. that way u get all that alcohol thats sittin there out of ur system before u sleep. again, this is not fool proof. ever have one of those day afters where you puked the night before but ur still dead hungover? and you imagine how bad it could have been :P

for each alcoholic drink you have, drink a glass of water or sportdrink of some kind, like Gatorade or similar drink.
Hangovers are caused by dehydratation, as alcohol is a diuretic (meaning it makes you pee a larger amount of liquid than you are drinking), so by staying hydrated, you'll avoid the hangover.

Drink water or another filler liquid while you are drinking. Most hangovers are the result of alcohol dehydration.

If you must drink alcohol, drink a pint of milk an hour before you start on the booze and then have a pint of water before you go to sleep.
In the morning go for fresh orange juice.
