Do you mean the religions that advocate death for those who DON'T convert? well, they're NOT peaceful....

When the thief on the cross next to Jesus believed that He was Lord went to parades with Him still had to die on the cross for his sins. Those that oppose the death penalty oppose God's Word. Genesis 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

This presumably refers to Islam, where, notwithstanding the explicit language of Qur'an 2:256, one who converts away from Islam is fair game for anyone with murderous intent. I have never been able to see a justification for this, either in Islamic theology or in morality in general.
