For my husband and I, maybe $50. But our pantry is stocked, so is the freezer, so I just need veggies and milk or cream.

Once you have the house stocked, it's super-cheap to keep it that way.

And sometimes we make a challenge to go as long as we can on what's in the cupboards and fridge. I think we made it 3 weeks without buying anything besides milk.

I think Darlene needs to look at that shopping list under a microscope, I think she could do better than that. Even when I had 9 children at home and all their friends and cousins I never spent that much. I buy for 6 people which would actually be 5 adult size people here all week plus for a college student on weekends and what he takes to school, two grandchildren are here part time and I have 15 - 25 for breakfast every Sunday not to mention other special events and I spend about $160 or so per week.

My boyfriend and I spend about $100 on groceries a week. Then he gets all angry that we spent so much money just on food. What he doesn't realize is that all that food is for him and he eats a lot. I have to pack him a lunch daily, and cook dinner for him, obviously. I spend more money at the grocery store when he's with me, cuz he likes to pick out junk that we really don't need, like kool-aid, hot pockets, and candy...eww, and hamburger helper....gag me.

I spend about $100 a week. I make almost all my meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I take advantage of all the sales, but I don't bother with coupons.
