If what you have written is real, this is each and all of the extra reason that kindness and understand-how settle for to those who call themselves Christian yet who tutor none of that kindness and understand-a thank you to homosexuals. you're an occasion of ways guilt and discrimination can injury lives; you have my sympathy. to respond to your query, you as a Christian ought to understand that the Bible condemns homosexuality as being against the will of God. despite if it could make you chuffed, that does no longer have a bearing on despite if this is the perfect element to do or no longer. i'm an atheist and don't have self assurance there is something incorrect with homosexuality, yet you're able to be able to desire to understand the place each and all of the conflict surrounding it comes from.

Thou shall not "murder" is a more appropriate translation, which leaves plenty of room for killing as self-defence. Either way, "murder" or "kill" they still give credence to your question regarding homosexuality and people placing one sin over another in their soap box evangelism.
Your observation is legit. Sin is sin and no single sin should be singled out and made to seem more horrific than another. This is often done by people who seek to hide their own sin nature in the shadow of others.
As far as the war... I will admit that I am thoroughly confused about our presence there. Though I do not judge President Bush's heart, as I am unable to 'judge' anyone's heart, I am called to 'discern' his walk as it relates to Christ's teachings and I have seen, time and time again, many inconsistencies which have led me to wonder about whether or not Bush is really a believer in Christ.
If a nation is truly defending itself against an enemy that wants to murder all her people, then self defence is not murder and does not cause a commandment of the Lord to be broken. However, if we were lied to and we are in Iraq as the aggressor, with no justification for "defence", then our President will be held accountable for the murders of all those innocent people. Rest assured that God knows the truth even if we do not.
I am grieved at all those who profess Christ in their lives and then drag His name through the mud of their self-made belief system, ignoring all that Christ taught and lived as our example.
God will not be mocked!

I agree with RB... Read the bible.. All u need to know is in there..
God is relating to murder when he states thou shall not kill. During Jesus's days, there was plenty of war..and as for Mr. Bush, he's using god's name in vain,..... There's a difference between going to war with the enemy (good against evil), there will always be a good against evil war, simply b/c history repeats itself.. Don't mistake that with murdering someone because they did u wrong, or for any personal reasons.

Not to mention torture. I feel you on this.
I add that if the fundagelicals could have kept their heads out of America's collective crotch for a moment, we wouldn't care about the Foley scandal so much. Wasn't that what they were supposedly trying to *prevent* by robbing all Americans of free-expression rights and LGBTs of full civil rights?

They must not people pursueing happiness if their happiness is different than theirs. Killing people is ok though, as long as they are Others, Them and not Us.

If you study the Bible, God had reasons for war and killing. This is different from murder.
