Denturists are specialist that only make dentures. They are not dentists, and they are only allowed to practice in specific areas of the US. (It's a state law thing).

General Dentists and Prosthodontists also make dentures with help from a dental laboratory

Do mean the kind of doctor who makes teeth? It's not usually a doctor. The dentist will make a mold of your mouth and then they send it to a lab that makes the actual tooth or teeth for that patient. They send them back to the dentist for them to put in for you. There are dental labs all over.
