They are structured differently;y, in order to process different foods.
Cats digest meat, which does not have tons of fiber in it, so their digest rive tract looks more like yours.
Rabbits however, have to process loads of plant fibers, their large intestine is much bigger and thinner than yours. Rabbits also have a cecum, and their appendix is used for digestion.

Just like between a cow and a human. Actually the human and the dog and some other mammals are omnivores, meaning they can have both meat and vegetable matter in their diets. The cat is an "obligate" carnivore meaning it must have meat to survive and the rabbit is a total vegetarian.

A cat eats mainly fresh meat and a trabbit eats lots of grass (and it has an enormous appendix. Otherwise I do not think that there should be such a difference. If you are thinking of doing a swap op' DON'T!

they need very different foods and nutrients.
cats need much higher protein and fats
that would bog a vegan rabbits system.
wont hurt if they steal each others food rarely but
they shouldn't share food.
