Yellow Tail---you can't go wrong! There is also Charles Shaw, which is very inexpensive & delicious and can be found at Trader Joe's (I live in Indy...so not sure if they have these other places). You might also want to specify the kind of red wine you are looking for...dry? sweet? Merlot? Shiraz?...

Silver Oak makes the best Cabernet Sauvignon. The same family also makes a great Merlot under a label called Twomey. Both are located in Napa Valley.

A medium bodied or full bodied red wine that has a taste description of spice and black pepper.Any shiraz wine from austrailia is a great selection. The name of the shiraz grape came from austrailia and the grape name syrah came from france so both are the same grape.I have not heard of a city with that name.

Beringer is a good, inexpensive wine that isn't fancy, but is never disappointing. An everyday wine.
For fancier American wines go to a gourmet food or wine store and ask the experts.
