Can you give us an example of a muslim promoting their faith here? Go on, an actual link to a question that promotes islam. Bet you can't!
Do you stand up (as a christian) and be counted about the IRA attacks on the British main land? No, of course you don't, because you're not a terrorist! To presume that all muslims agree with the terror attacks is a sign of your immense stupidity and intolerance!
It's attitudes like yours that fuel intolerance, which in turn causes young BRITISH muslims to feel alienated, and more likely to fight against what they see as an oppressive government.

I think if you browse through most of the answers in religion and spirituality you will see more promotion of Christianity and Atheism than Muslim promotion.

I'll start by saying that I do not follow the Muslim faith.
Second point I can't say I've noticed that they do. The same can't be said of some of the Christians out there.
I don't know your religion, but guess you are a UK citizen. Do you accept responsibility for everything done in the name of your religion or in the name of the government? I seriously doubt it.
I final point, I don't know where you get your news from, but I have seen numerous articles and interviews where Muslims have condemned these actions carried out in the name of their religion.
There are extremists in all walks of life, perhaps you should think on that..

Quite a number of Muslims in the UK have condemned the atrocities that have been happening around the world,and you are very wrong to say they use this site to promote their religion,They have as much right to use this site and speak about things that affect them as much as you and I.
What is wrong,is anyone having to come on here and defend their culture after being insulted,and yet again we have to say not all Muslims are full of hatred,but carry on insulting them and they will be.

Most do not use this site to promote their religion, however many people use this site to attack religions in general, and especially Islam. Muslims are simply responding to the mis-information that is constantly being presented about their religion.

We're not trying to promote ourselves. Islam is a respectable religion however people belittle it disrespectfully. We know what our religion stands for and we don't need to tell people anything if they are going to shut their ears and pretend not to listen. You want to know about Islam, you make the initative...
