Well, if there is any question of paternity, then no. And even if there is a DNA test, that doent mean that the father can definately take the child away- thats for a court to decide, most likely.

If the father is on the birth certificate and he can prove the mother to be unfit, then yes.

If he is not on the birth certificate and he knows for a fact he is the father and the mother is not a good mother, then he can go to the courts and demand a blood test.

if the mans name is on the birth certificate or if your child has his name he is consider your child's father unless you or him request a paternity test the same thing happen to a friend of mine but i wouldn't worry much about it because it would be hard to take a baby away from the mother without proving you unfit.

Depends on a couple of things: What state you and/or the child resides in, and...whether or not the father signed the birth certificate...

You must first establish fatherhood. If you decide to ask for custody, the court decides which parent is better able to care for the child. In most cases, the court gives custody to the parent who already has a home for the child.

Nope. Unlike being a woman, it's harder for a man to prove a child is genetically his unless there is hard evidence such as DNA.

Woman carry the babies. Men make them. See what I mean?
