Bought Microsoft Office Profeessional Edition 2003 and ended buying a new computer, I spent 12 hours on the phone with microsoft reps. to be told to call back every 15 to 20 minutes. Finally gave me another number to call to be told I would have to pay $35.00 an hour for help. Oh my gosh I spent $198.00 on the program to begin with. I told them all this and got nothing in return and I sent an email. Anyone know what I can do? They didn't say you could not buy a new computer and if you did you would not be able to use their product on it..........I need HELP????????

You didn't mention when you bought MS Office or what type of error you received. Did they ask you to pay because your 90 days of free support had expired or because your problem was not related to product failure such as a how-to use the feature question? Give us some more details.

Why can tyou just install the software on the new computer. how are they going to know. decommish the old one. all MS support costs 35 unless you have a support contract, but they usually wont charge you if your question is there fault. ie. a secuirty issue or an issue about licensing. you should call them.

Made the mistake of downloading windows 10 to my Dell Lap top. Now the thing will not boot, tried all options.Windows referred me to Dell. No problem, Dell can fix it for $239.00 since it is a 2012 and the warranty has expired. Have not had a drink in 24 yrs. but I am tempted!

Hi. Micro$oft had changed the number of different computers you can transfer the OS to to one. This means if you install it on a PC and the PC dies (or you change the motherboard or CPU or... well, you get it) the OS has to be purchased again.

Microsoft is like that terrible president that was elected to office simply because the only other candidate was retarded.

Your situation sounds pretty ridiculous, I'd be pissed.
