I am gettin my first tattoo in a few months wondering where a good place to get my first one done on my body is?

For me, mine works best on my hip. It's a nice, fatty area where the tattoo process didn't hurt too much, it's discreetly covered by pants or a skirt in professional situations, and it can be seen when I wear a swimsuit during my leisure time.

tattoos are a statement about yourself i have 2 one on my ankle and one on my shoulder i think the ankle is the best place for a woman i wish i didnt get the 2nd on my shoulder cause i cant enjoy it and its only seen in the summertime or intimate moments i suggest you get it where it cant be seen by customers or employers cause people do judge by that tats used to mean bad a** but they can be beautiful find someone that can design what you want to make it unique and different not something picked out of a book everyone has and enjoy it

getting your first tattoo should be something that you think about long and hard..I didn't get my first one until i was almost 40 and my mom took me to get it...i got what i call my circle of life it has my kids an my husbands name along with mine on it around my ankle..i thought about if for almost 3 years the first few days after i got it when i looked at it i thought what did i do then i remembered why i got it now i love it..and have since got 4 mores..when you get your tattoo you are getting it for you not for anyone else...you are the only one who can decide if and when you get it and what it should be..when my daughter turned 18 i took her to get her first tattoo she knew she wanted a sun but also wanted a half moon with her Aries sign in it.it turned out beautiful..the tattoo artist worked with her and kept drawing pictures until she found the right one she wanted..she also did research on the Internet to help get the perfect design..please don't go and get it on the spur of the moment..make sure it is the one you want since it will be with you longer than anything else in life..good luck with your first tattoo..let me also remind you they are very addicting..

Try NOT to have one right above your *ss. Everyone has that and consquently tries showing it off by wearing ridiculously low jeans. (plus they're called *ss antlers!). I have two tattoos, and one is on my back btween my shoulder blades, and one if on my hip. I got the hip one first and it did hurt but because it's not on the bone (like the one on my back) it was ok. These are also spots that dont stretch too much in case you gain weight. But in the end, it's entirely up to you, as you'll have it for the rest of your life.

That depends- are you a male or female.
Male- arm, chest, back, calf- anywhere really.
Female- DO NOT GET ONE ON YOUR ANKLE. That is tacky!!!! Get is somewhere that it can be hidden. Think of your wedding day or wearing a dress/skirt to work or when you are an old lady and have knee highs on at the nursing home.
Tacky. Tacky. Tacky.

My first tattoo was on my hip. I wanted one but I kept thinking..... everyone says what if you dont like it...... what if when you turn 30 you don't want it anymore....... what will your grandchildren say when they see it....... Well I have to tell you i now have both my shoulders, my lower back right below my belly button and an armband. I am over 30 and I still LOVE everyone I have gotten. So the choice is yours. Personally the most fun one I got was the one below my belly button. It was hard to keep from giggling and squirming. Not squirming from pain but from the vibrations in his hand resting on my tummy, I am very ticklish. Have fun and WELCOME TO YOUR NEW ADDICTION!!!!

I think that best place if your a man is the forearm but if your a girl I would have to say the your back top right

right where those dimples are in the back. I think that is a great place but it also depends on what kind of a tatto your getting

this is your first and its there for life. consider places you wouldnt want it seen. ie. your head, hands, neck. When you become a rich business person your suit wont hide them. If you're gonna be a wrestler then it dont matter.
