Try Praying
Be sure to find one who flows in all the gifts of the Spirit such as healing, speaking in tongues, and signs, wonders and miracles, etc.
1 Corinthians 12:6-11 (new testament - in your Bible)
6 And there are differences of workings, but it is the same God working all things in all.
7 But to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to our profit.
8 For through the Spirit is given to one a word of wisdom; and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
9 and to another faith by the same Spirit; and to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 and to another workings of powers, to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to another kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing separately to each one as He desires.

Do a web search. I've seen sites where there are listings for pastors seeking churches & churches seeking pastors. Also contact your local Christian Universaties. The Master's College in Souther California has lists of graduate ministers that are willing to move to serve around the nation & world. They are located in Santa Clarita, California.

1. Try CoC seminaries and Bible colleges. They always have contact lists that might help.
2. Try other CoC churches in your area/state to see if they know of potential ministers that are looking for a church.
3. Try church staffing webistes (churchstaffing.com, etc.) - this is how I got hooked up with the church I work at. Ministers post their resumes and church's post their openings.
Hope this helps!

What state are you located in? You know what works the best? Raising people up from within your own congregation! That has been the best way in my church. In the bible God raised up people were were unschooled and ordinary men (Peter) and leaders from among their own people (Moses, Jesus, etc.)

I'd suggest going to www.fbi.gov and checking out the list of sex offenders. You could choose from that list.
