Your hair feels or is prone to being greasy so you wash it everyday, then that strips it of it's natural oils.
Also, nerves can increase the production of grease in the sebaceous glands, so try to keep calm and keep your hands out of your hair as this will add dirt aswell.
My advice is wash your hair everyday if you wish, but use a conditioner for greasy hair such as boots seakelp and watermint to stop your scalp being stripped of oils.
Also lightly blow dry your hair, this will make it feel less greasy. Avoid lots of hair products that can weigh down your hair.

Every time you run your fingers through your hair you are causing whatever is on your fingers, as well as the naturally occurring oils on your scalp to be spread onto your hair. The more you do it, the faster the hair by the scalp will look greasy. Easiest thing would be to keep your hands out of it. Maybe pull it up for the first part of the day. Shampoo your hair in the morning, not at night, and make sure you are using a gentle enough shampoo, one that is not stripping the natural oils, as they are there for a reason. The more you strip, the more your oil glands are over producing to compensate and keep your scalp at its natural oil level. Also want to be careful because the more you strip, the drier your ends will get, and then you end up with the pleasantries of oily hair by the scalp, and dry, frizzy, damaged ends.

Yep, start by using a shampoo and conditioner for greasy hair. Also, STOP touching your hair too much, this really doesn't help with the greasiness.
Perhaps you are using too many products, this isn't very good if you have fine hair, as fine hair tends to get greasy very quickly.

An old trick with greasy hair was if you didn't want to wash it everyday then you put some talc on your hands rub together then comb through hair, don't do this to much as your hair will turn white LOL , but your hair will look good and last another day before it needs washing.

Well, I have the same problem, so when I wash my hair, I always wash it twice, then when I condition it, I "never" put conditioner on the "top" , only the ends of it. I still have extra grease compared to some people, but not like it "was." Also, make sure you use conditioner WITHOUT a moisturizer, because that will make it greasy sooner. Good luck

I used to have that problem,,just try to keep your hands away from your hair (unless its necessary) and I also changed my shampoos frequently, I found sunsilk anti-grease shampoo worked best. One thing I advise is DO NOT use conditioner,it will make your hair extremely greasy,Especially if you put it on the roots!!! Good Luck...

I don't think there is a lot can be done other than daily washing..unless it's the shampoo. Use shampoo for oily hair, maybe eat leaner but unsure if eating leaner will help but worth a try.

Try washing with clarifying shampoos, they are very drying, and maybe a volumizing conditioner to give it some poof?? Fiddling with your hair will give you split ends, just so you know!

The more you wash your hair, the more oil it will produce. Try going for about two days without washing it. Then use a clarifying shampoo.

I easily love Dove's new shampoo for extremely damaged hair. i myself stated a distinction after the first time utilising it. once you're contained in the Dove section contained in the shampoo isle, its contained in the cool army blue bottles. And the first answer develop into authentic- drink a number of the strong stuff i elect to call water. lol. And protien helps, that's what hair is made up of. wish I helped and strong success!
