I was looking at Lapland but it works out at about £1500 for two people which i found to be too expensive really, does anyone have any other options with regards to contacts regards Lapland or any other destinations around xmas. Any information would be greatly apreciated.

How many times you got your xmas in the real winter? Time to try xmas in a summer way? Definitely much less than 1500p

What about Iceland? Reykjavik has a brilliant nightlife and it's cold so quite Christmassy. Best part is you can get a flight and 3 nights hotel in the centre for £250.

if you only want abroad, sorry cant help, however if uk is okay, i can definately recommend a cottage break, with log fire is unbeatable. we go to bamburgh in northumberland every new year and it is totally chilled out. recommend www.cottageguide.co.uk for cottages, you book direct with owners so there are no agency fees.
