You can color it. There are special hair coloring products available for pregnant women that do not use all of the harmful chemicals that regular products use. Congrats on your new baby!!!

pregnant people have to asked their doctors whenever they take medicines or apply chemicals to their body. Baby in th womb in so sensitive and basically, whatever the mommy takes or used, is absorbed by the baby as well.
about the hair thing, the best thing is to ask ur specialist or doctor if it is permissible... i am not sure if there is direct effect so better ask a specialist.
sometimes, pregnants mom may just taken for granted or may seem to overlook or feel the effect, but still there maybe an unseen effect. Experts will tell the best. hope this helps u :)

I went through this when I was pregnant, and the best advice is if you can hold out on coloring your hair, do it. I was going grey, so I chose to do it, but waited until after the first trimester. Most hair dye's are a bit safer than they were years ago, and they are more concerned about the fumes and those effects these days more so than the dye penetrating your scalp. But there's always a "risk". Better to be safe than sorry is my theory! If you do decide to go through with it, make sure you are in a well ventilated area....

You can colour your hair when you are pregnant, the only thing is that the colour might not take very well due to the hormones of being pregnant.
Sometimes it does, but sometimes it doesn't. I don't think it would hurt to try though, everyone's different.

If you colour your hair, I don't think it will affect your baby! I've bleached my hair recently, and i'm also pregnant and so far, it's done nothing. If you want to be ultra careful, you should use a rinse, found at local beauty supply stores.

I colored my hair during pregnancy and he had no ill effects from it. I would make sure to open the window so the fumes don't become as strong....it's prob not good to breathe that stuff in too much. You can always go for those colors that are temporary if you are still worried about it. They typically are not as harsh smelling and are gentler on your hair.

Some hair dyes are not safe in pregnency My advice would be to purchase the dye from a reputable chemist and seek advice from the pharmacist before you buy a particular product. They will know which are safe and would be happy to advise you.

I saw an experiment where garlic oil was rubbed on the soles of a man's feet. Twenty minutes later his breath tested positive for garlic. So be careful what chemicals go onto your skin.

Just to be safe use a vegetable or plant-based hair dye such as henna. It doesn't damage the hair or harm your baby.

I color my hair quite frequently and I've been pregnant four times. I asked my doctor about coloring my hair while pregnant and her response was that as long as the fumes are not bothering you, you are ok to color your hair.
